About
The original painting is part of a larger 'Kelp' series. Visiting the world-class Monterey Bay Aquarium, I was captivated by the movement of kelp, standing on the ground floor looking up, the forests canopy reached multiple stories. Transparencies layered reminded me of a weaving, integral threads of the ecosystem.
Benefit SeaTrees
Each print restores kelp forest off the California coast. I have partnered with Sea-trees, a nonprofit organization based in California that works with coastal communities to help reforest the ocean. With your support, may we restore giant kelp along the California coast.
