This month’s piece is a small mockup to scale of a redwood forest for my larger commission, "Through the Generations."
Walnut oil on canvas, this painting was inspired by the light filtering through the trees.The artwork is a tribute to the transition from ancient old-growth forests to delicate newly sprouted redwoods of Big Sur, exploring the unique atmosphere and vibrant colors found within the heart of the redwood forest.
