About

The original painting was the first of my 'Kelp' painting series. I became enchanted by giant kelp forests and have loved this journey of learning more about them. From kelps beautiful golden color (brown algae), to their power to help reverse climate change, I wanted to create work that celebrates kelp.

Benefit SeaTrees

Each print restores kelp forest on the California coast. I have partnered with Sea-trees.org, a nonprofit organization based in California that works with coastal communities to help reforest the ocean. With your support, may we restore giant kelp along the California coast.
